Dr. Jitendra Sheetlani

Dr. Jitendra Sheetlani is working as a Professor (CSE) at Chameli Devi Group of Institutions (CDGI), Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He has over 22+ years of academic and research experience. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from NIMS University, Jaipur, in 2013. He holds a M.Tech (CSE) from Dr. Preeti Global University, Shivpuri (MP), , a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from Pt. Ravishankar University, Raipur (CG), and a B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from Vikram University, Ujjain.

His research interests include Distributed Database Systems, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Internet of Things (IoT), and Data Mining. He has published 50+ research papers in reputed Scopus-indexed journals, international journals, and national/international conferences, including 12+ SCOPUS/IEEE book chapters. He has 8 patents and 4 registered copyrights to his credit and has authored 10+ books in the areas of Cloud Computing, IoT, Personalized Healthcare, and Database Management Systems. He has successfully supervised 8 Ph.D. scholars and 2 M.Tech. students and has been associated with DST-, DBT-, and AICTE-sponsored academic and research programmes, receiving sponsored funding for conducting and coordinating various research, training, and academic development programmes.

He has served as IQAC Coordinator, HOD, Dean, NAAC Coordinator, AICTE Coordinator and Chairman, Board of Studies and has contributed to AICTE, DST and DBT-sponsored academic programmes. He is also associated with various professional bodies, editorial/review boards and academic committees, and has organized technical workshops and student training programmes.

He has also successfully completed NPTEL certifications and actively participates in academic and professional development activities, having attended 20+ Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), Short-Term Training Programmes (STTPs), seminars, workshops, and other training programmes. He has also contributed as a Subject Matter Expert in SWAYAM courses, sharing his academic expertise with learners at the national level. In addition, he has served as a Resource Person in UGC-MMTTC programmes, contributing to faculty capacity building and professional development initiatives.

He has also received various academic and professional recognitions for his contributions to teaching, research, and academic activities. He has served as a Session Chair in 5+ national and international conferences, seminars, and academic events organized by different reputed institutions. His academic contributions further include participation in research paper evaluation, peer review, academic committees, conferences, workshops, and faculty development activities.
