About ISHRAE
The Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE), was founded in 1981 at New Delhi by a group of eminent HVAC&R professionals. ISHRAE today has over 28,780 HVAC&R professionals and Student-members. ISHRAE operates from over 44 Chapters and sub Chapters spread all over India, with HQ in Delhi. It is led by a team of elected officers, who are members of the Society, working on a voluntary basis, and collectively called the Board of Governors.
CDGI ISHRAE Student Chapter
CDGI ISHRAE Students Chapter was formed in 2014.BTech. Students can get the ISHRAE Student membership by paying only Rs. 850/- (for registration visithttps://www.ishraehq.in).
The different activities conducted under the ISHRAE chapter are guest lectures from industry expert, industrial visit, quiz competitions, job junction (Placement for BTech. students), project grant for UG & PG students, Techno CHILL (It is one day technical event, in which various competitions are conducted like as quiz competition, paper presentation, project idea competitions), National and International conferences etc.
Membership Benefits
- •Free access to technical AC & R 'E-Journal' published every 2 months.Free access to the technical AC & R ‘E-Journal’ published once every 2 months, by logging in to the ISHRAE website with their Student Membership Number.
- •Opportunity to attend technical presentations made at the Student Chapter by visiting ISHRAE members &/or Distinguished Lecturers.
- •Participation in Industrial visits organized by the local ISHRAE parent Chapter.
- •Eligibility to apply for & avail Research grants for Projects accepted by the ISHRAE Technical Committee as deserving further study & research.
- •Competition & selection to Quiz contests, culminating in the participation in a Quest etc., a coveted National Students Quiz Contest held annually during ACREX.
- •ISHRAE Job Junction provides online platform where Students can interact with the Corporate and vice versa. It’s an excellent handshake placement opportunity for the Students who are looking to join the HVAC & R Industry
