Dr. Kapil Tarey

Dr. Kapil Tarey is working as Head and Associate Professor in the Departments of MCA and IT at Chameli Devi Group of Institutions (CDGI), Indore, Madhya Pradesh. He has over 21 years of academic and research experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore through the International Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS), awarded in December 2023. He also holds an M.Phil. in Computer Science (Vikram University, Ujjain, 2011), MCA (IASE University, Rajasthan, 85%, 2006), MCM (DAVV, 2003), and B.Sc. in Computer Science (DAVV, Indore, 2001). He is currently pursuing M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering from Oriental University, Indore.

His research interests include Cloud Computing, Fuzzy Logic-based Resource Scheduling, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, Python, Network Security, and Internet of Things (IoT). He has published 13+ research papers in reputed Scopus-indexed journals, IEEE conferences, Springer conferences, and UGC-CARE journals.

He holds 1 utility patent application , 6 Indian Design Patents, and 2 registered copyrights.

He has authored 3 books: C Powered Data Structure and Algorithms, A Fundamental Strategy for Data Structures (CDGI), and Ethics in Machine Learning and Data Analytics.

Dr. Tarey has been recognized as a Program Committee Member and Reviewer in 15+ international conferences organized by IEEE, Springer, NITs.

He has actively participated in 30+ Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Short-Term Training Programs (STTPs), and workshops across organized by AICTE (ATAL), NITTTR , UGC-MMTTC, IIT Madras (NPTEL).

He is a member of the Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA), USA (Membership No: 198358028994) and a certified reviewer for IJIRT and JETIR.
