Dr. Makhan Kumbhkar

Dr. Makhan Kumbhkar has been actively involved in research, innovation, and technology development, with a focus on applying Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to real-world challenges. His research interests include Deep Learning, Explainable AI (XAI), Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, AI for Agriculture, Biomedical Informatics, Healthcare, and Fake Content Detection and Prevention.

During his tenure at ICAR–National Soybean Research Institute (ICAR-NSRI), Indore, he developed live AI-based software products and decision-support solutions for farmers, applying Machine Learning to practical agricultural challenges.

He has received the Young Researcher Award from Maa Shakumbari Trust, Noida, and the Environmental Protection Award from Global Foundation and DAVV. He contributes to the research community as a reviewer for IEEE, IJERT, and IJATCA, a member of IAENG, APAIA, and IARDO, and a Technical Program Committee member for IEEE international conferences. He has participated in 35+ FDPs, STTPs, seminars, and workshops organized by IITs, AICTE, and IEEE, covering emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, R, Drones, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
