About Dr. Manish Shrivastava
I am a Principal, Professor of Computer Science & Engineering, researcher, and academic leader with more than 32 years of professional experience across the software industry, higher education, research, innovation, and institutional leadership.
My journey in Computer Science began in 1989, allowing me to witness and contribute to the remarkable transformation of CSE—from its early development to today's era of Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Science, and emerging technologies.
Currently, I serve as Principal & Professor (CSE) at Chameli Devi Group of Institutions, Indore. During my career, I have also served in leadership roles including Dean/Director R&D, HOD CSE & IT, and Director of an RGPV Research Centre.
I hold a BE(CSE) from Government Engineering College in 1993, Bhopal; MTech(DC) from MANIT, Bhopal, MTech(CSE) from BU, Bhopal; PhD from MANIT, Bhopal in 2011.

Research Innovation Ipr
Research and innovation have been an integral part of my professional journey.
My areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, TOC, GIS, Intellectual Property Rights, Discrete Structure and emerging technologies.
I am also interested in strengthening the connection between academia, industry, research and innovation, with a focus on creating meaningful opportunities for students and faculty.
Academic Leadership
My institutional responsibilities and experience include academic administration, accreditation, NBA/NAAC processes, Outcome-Based Education, R&D, innovation, IPR, faculty development, curriculum planning, industry–academia collaboration, research funding, and institutional development.
I believe that higher education should not be limited to teaching alone. A strong institution must create an ecosystem where education, research, innovation, entrepreneurship and industry collaboration work together.
