Dr. Manoj Agrawal

Dr. Manoj Agrawal is an accomplished academician, researcher, and academic administrator with more than 23 years of teaching experience in Computer Science and Engineering at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Dr. Manoj Agrawal is presently working as an Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering, Chameli Devi Group of Institutions, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He is having more than 23 years of experience involving teaching, research and other academic and administrative works in higher education. As a Coordinator of Startup & Entrepreneurship Cell (PAHAL) of CDGI, he is dedicated to shaping the future of technology and entrepreneurship, equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering with a specialization in Machine Learning. His teaching and research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence Applications for Smart Agriculture and Healthcare. Throughout his career, he has been committed to research-driven teaching, innovation, outcome-based education, and mentoring students for academic excellence, research, and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Agrawal has published 12+ research papers in reputed Scopus, ESCI, IEEE, and UGC CARE indexed journals, along with 16+ papers presented at National and International Conferences, including publications in the ACM Digital Library. He has also served as Session Chair at several prestigious international conferences and regularly reviews manuscripts for Springer, Inderscience, IEEE conferences, and other Scopus/Web of Science indexed journals.

His research and innovation accomplishments include 4 granted design patents, one registered copyright, successful mentoring of student research leading to publications and patents, and significant contributions to innovation and startup ecosystems. As In-charge of the PAHAL Startup & Entrepreneur Cell, he has guided various research-based student projects, helping secure over ₹6 lakh in innovation funding during the last two academic years.

Dr. Agrawal has extensive experience in academic leadership, accreditation, and institutional development. He has served as NBA Criteria Coordinator, CSE department Research Coordinator, Major Project Coordinator and has actively contributed to NAAC, NBA, AICTE, RGPV, DAVV, and DTE compliance and quality assurance initiatives. He has organized various FDPs, workshops, conferences, expert lectures, and technical events. Notably, he successfully organized an AICTE-ATAL Faculty Development Program in 2025 and secured ₹1,00,000 AICTE funding for its execution.

He is a member of several professional bodies, including ACM, CSI, IAENG, CSTA, and IACSIT, and contributes to the global research community as an editorial board member, reviewer, mentor, and innovation facilitator.
