Prof. Deepak R Phalke

Prof. Deepak R Phalke is a distinguished academician, industry professional, researcher and academic administrator with more than 25+ years of experience. He had completed B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Govt. Engineering College Ujjain and M.Tech in Thermal Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal. He had started his career in Automobile Industry “Bajaj Tempo”, at Pithampur and has served many departments such as Production, Quality Control and Production & Planning. He began his academic career as a lecturer in a well known Institute of Madhya Pradesh i.e. Shri Govindram Sakseria Institute of Technology and Science, Indore and later pursued M.Tech in Thermal Engineering from MANIT Bhopal. His area of research work was developing & testing various blends of Biodiesel as alternate fuels for Gas Turbine. He had published more than 10+ papers of his research work in National and International conferences. He has guided more than 30+ B.tech student projects. He had 2 design patents on his project work. He has also participated in more than 30 + Faculty Development Program, Short Term Training Programs, Workshops & Seminars. He has been also selected under Early Faculty Induction Program of AICTE and has received the Incentive Grant of Rs 1.8 lacs for taking teaching as a career. He has served earlier as Head of Mechanical Engineering Department & Hostel warden for more than 15 years. He is currently working as Academic Head of B.Tech first year for the last 5 years.
