Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

Graduates of the program will be able to:

PEO 1

Have a comprehensive background of mathematics, science and basics of mechanical engineering to solve problems related to mechanical engineering and multidisciplinary areas.

PEO 2

Gain expertise and acumen in core areas like design, thermal and manufacturing engineering to satisfy employers or emerge as entrepreneurs, scientists and technocrats with ethical values.

PEO 3

Have an orientation towards professional growth through employment and higher studies.

At the end of the program, students will be able to:

PSO 1

Apply domain knowledge of mechanical engineering to address a wide range of technical and societal problems with creativity, imagination, confidence and responsibility.

PSO 2

Explain and solve the design aspects of mechanical modules in various industrial applications.

PSO 3

Analyze, design and evaluate engineering systems including I.C Engines, Refrigeration, Air-conditioning, Conventional and Non-Conventional Power Generating Systems.
