SAE NIS Efficycle — Team Effiroaders

About the Event

"EFFICYCLE", derived from Efficient-Cycle, promotes the objective of providing opportunity to the students to conceive, design and fabricate a three-wheel configuration vehicle powered by human-electric hybrid power and capable of seating two passengers catering to the day-to-day mobility needs. The vehicle must be aerodynamic, engineered for performance & safety, and ergonomically designed. The objective is to promote innovation and generate consciousness amongst the young engineers towards environment-friendly mobility solutions. The event is organized and supported by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd.

About Team Effiroaders

Team Effiroaders of CDGI was formed in the year 2013 to participate in the 3rd season of EFFICYCLE. The team consists of 10-13 students from both the Mechanical Engineering Department and the Electronics & Communication Engineering Department. The team works collaboratively to bring innovative engineering theories to life, prototyping and testing their hybrid designs in the institutional labs.

SAE India BAJA — Team Spartans

About the Event

The Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) organizes this prestigious national event every year at Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh in association with Mahindra Rise. The event provides a hands-on platform for engineering graduates to tackle real-world automotive challenges, testing their vehicle designs under extremely hostile off-road track conditions.

About Team Spartans

Team Spartans from CDGI takes part in this rugged event every year. The team comprises of 25 students selected from both the Mechanical Engineering Department and the Electronics & Communication Engineering Department. Working long hours in the college fabrication center, they design and manufacture off-road all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).
